Pilates
Pilates has been a buzz word for a few years now and

people wanting to attend classes but not sure exactly what they entail and who

why do clients choose group classes?
As a group exercise instructor, our goal is to
motivate clients to continue to exercise for a long term healthy life. Training in a group creates wonderful energy
and encourages members to return day after day. I believe that if we don't
enjoy the exercise session and feel a sense of accomplishment, the chances of
people continuing is very slim.

instructor courses are around scope of practice. It is not possible to guide every possible
scenario especially when dealing with the public. Most importantly for us is to know where we fit in
the fitness professional training arena.
As a group training instructor is when to refer to doctor, physiotherapist
or a bio.

Burnout – identifying and avoiding it
I believe it happens to all of us from time to time,
most commonly when we just get started with our teaching. It's so exciting and the adrenaline is
addictive. We also know that the more we
teach the more confident and comfortable we feel. But all too often, just after we get qualified,
we take on every single class made available to us. It is difficult to say ‘no’ but it is also
important to remember that our bodies and our health are our business and we
should care for it as the investment it is.

About Myself
